Amsterdam Billiard Club Leagues: A Tradition of Competition for Pool Players of All Levels

NYC Grind got to catch up with Amsterdam’s Team 9 Ball League Director, John Leyman as the pool room now marks its 20th Anniversary in operation.  Read on to get an inside look from John at how the league has developed how it’s maintained its staying power for nearly two decades… Team 9 Ball League Director John Leyman some of Amsterdam's lady league players: Maya Delvillar, Neslihan Gurel, Olga Gashkova, & Emily Duddy The Team 9 Ball League started around 11 years ago at the Amsterdam Billiard Club on 86 th between 2 nd and 3 rd .  At that point in time, Amsterdam already had a successful league structure with an 8 Ball / 9 Ball team leagues (for lower level players) at both the East Side club and the West Side club, as well as Individual 9 Ball on the East Side and Straight Pool on the West Side

World Pool Masters Down to the Last 16
