“Wu Tang” Duane Toney (2st), Bob Schlott (3rd), Kevin Guimond (1st), Tony Robles (Tour Founder) On March 6-7, 2010, Tony Robles and the Ozone Billiards Predator Tour staff & players made pool history in New York. This season, the Ozone Billiards Predator 9-Ball Tour introduced a new dual-tournament structure, allowing amateurs to compete amongst themselves instead of alongside the pros. This move helped create the first-ever amateur 9-ball title in NY state, the Empire State Amateur Championships

After a courageous battle with leukemia, Lacey Laskowski , the niece of renowned cue maker Dave Jacoby passed away at the age of 25. January 23rd, 2010 admin Super Billiards Expo 2010 Allen Hopkins’ Super Billiards Expo is right around the corner, and tomorrow, January 24th, Crown Billiards in Pompton Lakes, NJ is giving players an opportunity to win a free entry into the Expo’s Amateur Players Championship 9-ball event. New Jersey veteran player Carmen Lombardo recently re-opened Crown Billiards, and will be running a qualifier 9-ball tournament on Sunday starting at 2:00 pm, in the same format as the Super Billiards Expo, which will be held on March 18-21, 2010.

The Pro/Am Tour’s finale event drew a total of 92 of the Northeast’s strongest players along with World Class Professional Jose Parica, legendary hustler Danny Basavich, and Trick Shot World Champion Andy “Magic Man” Segal. Pool player and room owner Holden Chin rolled out the red carpet for the players, and mentioned that he was impressed by the turnout
