Steve Kurtz, creator of the Diamond Billiards – Bob Jewett 14.1 Challenge Along with all its great classic pro and amateur events, this year the Super Billiards Expo has brought on a brand-new straight pool event that was built from the ground-up. This event, called the Diamond Billiards Product – Bob Jewett 14.1 Challenge , was originally conceived by long-time straight pool player and fan, Steve Kurtz .  With the assistance of Allen Hopkins , industry sponsors, and most importantly, player support, the event is now coming to fruition at the 2010 Expo.
